O.D.SY sits firmly in the second category.

UK-born but currently living somewhere in Europe, O.D.SY leads a deliberately unstructured, wandering creative life. Part street artist, part designer, part performer, he drifts between cities, projects, and ideas with little interest in conventional structure - preferring to let his work travel further than the name behind it.

While his identity remains intentionally hidden, his creative fingerprints are quietly embedded in the early foundations of GET DUCK’D!!, shaping its distinctive collectible duck universe and playful lifestyle brand vibe.

For the brand’s launch year, O.D.SY stepped in as a trusted creative advisor and collaborator - helping shape the early visual tone of the project while designing the first limited-edition mug graphics featured in The Perfect Pair: The Original Rubber Duck & Mug Set®.

It’s an unusual collaboration on paper.

A roaming underground artist helping launch a collectible duck brand... but then again, unusual ideas tend to be the most interesting ones.

A Creative Mind That Refuses to Sit Still.

O.D.SY was born in the UK but rarely stays in one place for long. In recent years he has been living across Europe, moving between cities, projects, and creative experiments with very little interest in the usual structure of a conventional life or career.

Friends describe it less as “travelling” and more as a deliberately unrestrained lifestyle built around curiosity, creativity, and the freedom to follow ideas wherever they lead.

O.D.SY says:

“I’ve never been great at staying in one place for long. There’s too much interesting stuff happening out there... and the UK definitely doesn’t have the weather I need.”

His work draws on a wide mix of influences: comic strips, street art, graffiti, punk-era graphics, pop art, performance art, and the stranger corners of popular culture. The result is a chaotic, playful, and slightly rebellious style built around characters, humour, and bold, energetic visuals.

“I’ve always liked art that doesn’t behave itself. Comic books, street art, old punk graphics... stuff that feels alive rather than polished.”

Not all of O.D.SY’s projects live on a canvas or screen. Over the years he has experimented with performance art, DJ sets, and live creative concepts, treating art less as a static object and more as something that unfolds in real time.

Despite the variety and versatility, one thing has remained consistent: he keeps a deliberately low public profile. Some projects appear under aliases. Others surface anonymously. Many simply exist without explanation. Which is exactly how he prefers it.

The Longstanding Friendship Behind the Collaboration.

O.D.SY and the founder of GET DUCK’D!! have known each other for a long time and have had a few adventures together.

Although GET DUCK’D!! wasn’t the kind of project he usually tackled, O.D.SY immediately recognised its potential - and he wasn’t going to take no for an answer.

“This was something new, something fun, and something a bit different to what I usually do - straight away I was in,” he says.

An artist in every sense - performer, DJ, illustrator, street artist - O.D.SY brings a mix of the serious, the playful, and the downright chaotic to his work. Some projects are full-on creative experiments, others are lighthearted diversions, but all carry his unmistakable bold and bright touch.

“He asked if I wanted to help kick things off and I thought... yeah, why not. If GET DUCK’D!! ends up becoming something big one day, I get to say I was there at the very start. The original duck artist. That’s a good story.”

“It’s a weird concept... but weird ideas are usually the good ones. If you’re going to start something different, you might as well go all the way with it.”

The Opening Year.

To help GET DUCK’D!! find its feet, O.D.SY was commissioned to design the opening year of mug editions, including the launch series and the first seasonal releases, such as Halloween and Christmas specials.

All artwork created by O.D.SY has been designed exclusively for GET DUCK’D!!, forming the visual backbone of the brand and something that can evolve as the universe expands.

“The duck thing made me laugh at first,” he admits.
“But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Collectible ducks and artist mugs is weird enough that it might actually work.”

Rather than producing overly polished commercial artwork, he leaned into a slightly raw visual approach that mirrors the rebellious personality of the brand itself. Comic-inspired energy, character-led, and subtle humour make the designs feel more like collectible illustration than traditional product decoration.

Each design carries O.D.SY’s tag, quietly hidden within the artwork - a nod for sharp-eyed collectors and a subtle mark of his underground style.

Helping Build a Platform for Artists.

Although O.D.SY contributed the opening year of artwork, his involvement was always intended as a starting point rather than a permanent role.

The long-term ambition behind GET DUCK’D!! is to build a rotating creative platform where artists, illustrators, and designers can experiment and bring their own ideas into the expanding GET DUCK’D!! universe.

“Artists spend years trying to get their work on gallery walls. Sometimes the smarter move is putting it somewhere nobody expects... beer bottles, skate decks, patches, mugs... whatever people actually have in their hands.”

By helping shape the project’s launch year, O.D.SY hopes to show other artists what’s possible when everyday objects become unexpected collectible canvases.

“If it works, it opens the door for other artists. That’s the interesting part. Once people see the potential, they’ll want to play with it.”

A Small Contribution to a Much Larger Idea.

Like many independent creatives, O.D.SY moves between projects, often trading his work for just enough funding to keep the next adventure going.

His collaboration with GET DUCK’D!! followed that spirit, helping shape the early creative identity of the project while he continues his best life around Europe.

“Mystery is underrated,” he says.
“The world already has enough people shouting for attention.”

What Comes Next?

For now, O.D.SY remains deliberately elusive. No website. No socials. Just the artwork.

His connection to GET DUCK’D!! may not be finished either. While he isn’t a permanent team member, it’s entirely possible he may continue in a consultant capacity, contributing to certain creative concepts behind the scenes as the brand evolves. Or he may disappear again entirely. With O.D.SY, either outcome seems equally likely - but the door will always be open.

As GET DUCK’D!! grows, every artist who collaborates with the project will be featured on the official blog and socials, highlighting their work, creative influences, and background. Where possible, links to their websites and portfolios will be included.

O.D.SY, however, prefers to remain elusive for now. The only trace he leaves behind is his tag, subtly hidden in the early releases. Sharp-eyed collectors will spot it in multiple designs, and rumours from European underground circles suggest it appears elsewhere too.

Whether that anonymity lasts forever is another question entirely.

GET DUCK’D!! was never meant to be a closed project.

The long-term vision is to build a rotating ecosystem of artists, illustrators, and designers who want to experiment with unusual ideas and turn everyday objects into collectible pieces.

Future collaborations may include limited-edition mug artwork and other creative projects currently in development within the GET DUCK’D!! universe.

O.D.SY may have helped kick things off, but the vision has always been bigger than just one artist.
